Property Description
Architecturally distinctive with an asymmetrical gabled roof, this refined coastal retreat balances dramatic volume with intimate scale. The main residence features a loft style open floor plan with soaring vaulted ceilings, a generous kitchen with breakfast bar, and light filled living and dining areas enhanced by reimagined concrete floors, wood clad walls, exposed beams, and oversized windows. A graceful circular staircase leads to a lofted bedroom and bath above. An adjoining annex offers flexible, private living with a den, garden view sitting room, full bath, kitchenette, and bedroom--ideal for guests or extended living. The grounds have been thoughtfully transformed into a private botanical sanctuary with nearly 300 plants and trees, including rhododendrons, camellias, fruit trees, and over 40 varieties of sage, creating layered garden rooms and a true hummingbird haven. Flowering hedges and fencing provide privacy from the street. Ideally located near Russian Gulch trails and Point Cabrillo Lighthouse, with access to three private bluff trails at Coast Highlands. Bike to town or Caspar's sea lion colony; stroll nearby bluffs for whale and coastal wildlife viewing.
